Hobart 60qt Planetary Ring Gear

This ring gear is located under the planetary on you 60qt mixer! The main function of this ring gear is to turn your planetary shaft which in turn, turns your hook and the oil pump in the planetary. This part will normally never breaks, but will wear out a cause a loud knocking noise that will drive you nuts! When replacing this ring gear i would recommend replacing the pinion gear which is the other main part is turning your hook!
